CAL BERKELEY

This past weekend I went on a road trip to UC Berkeley. The drive up was great. i made it in about 5 hours. We left for Berkeley around 9 pm so we arrived around 3 am. Not being able to see many places to stay because of lack of knowing the area, we stayed at VISTA inn & suites. This is obviously an inn, but the prices were the same as a nice hotel. $90 per night. WOW ! Well that was where we stayed for the night.

The camp began the next day. My father and i decided to check out the football field. Just as expected, it was beautiful. The stadium called "California Memorial Stadium" was built in 1923 and is still standing.

After checking out the football field and wonderful campus. We headed to the student dorms, which would be my living quarters for the next three days. These were also rather nice.

The football camp ended up being a lot of fun and i had a great time playing for and speaking with the coaches. I found through talking to other campers that kids/teens/people not only jerk in LA, but it has now spread to COLORADO and TEXAS. LMAO. WOW ! (some of my white teammates from texas tried to do the reject. hahahha. good stuff).
After the camp, I saw the movie THE HANGOVER. This is by far one of the funniest movies i have seen in a long time.

On the way home from Berkeley, about one hour away from LA, our fluid's tube in our car sprung a leek and we had to get picked up and towed by Triple A. My dad and i finally made it home safely and all is well.

Video gaming was once a way of life for me. Through the years of growin up i used to go hard on the stix and get all sorts of games. I've probably played mostly all the systems, but only owned three which is most definitely all i needed.

I remember when i was in elementary school and actually had time to play video games.
When i could come home to my Sega Genesis and just beat up some body on Street Fighter or get as many rings as possible just because they are fun to get, playing Sonic.
I even remember my first encounter with sports games, collecting Madden 92' all the way up to madden 98' for my Sega.

And later playing all of these same games on my Sega Dreamcast.

Also remembering my Netindo 64 on which i played nothing but Super Smash Bros.

These were days i wish i could just have back or live through just one more time.
But those days are but a memory. So all i can do is reminisce.

Kicked it with my homegirls from Pink Dollaz today.
Love em' to death.
They are actually my oldest friends. Known them since Preschool and they stay 5 houses down.
Along with J-Hawk and a couple other LA "Jerk" artist, they made the New York Times News Paper.
Also They have many scheduled upcoming shows.
Tomorrow, Saturday, April 25, at Dockweiler Beach from 1pm- until, there will be a HUGE Ent BEACH PARTY !
This will include all of the known Jerk groups and artist including the New Boyz, Cold Flamez, Tay Pu$has, Vixen Ent, Pink Dollaz, J-Hawk, and many more.

I felt the need to show you not only the Lyrical dedication, but also the all around love and music appreciation of young artist Hugh Augustine.
Not many Hip Hop artist are capable of both being lryicist and playing and instrument.
Real musical superiority has become lost in today's society.
Hugh is a living example of what a real musician is supposed to be.

SPRING BREAK DAY 4: Mission Impossible

So my boy Justyn and i start off the day with a plan. that plan was unsuccessful. So unsuccessful that we were left with absolutely nothing to do. SO . we decide to cruse around LA.
We start in Inglewood and come to the realization that that is neither smart nor safe to do that. But we did find that there is a
Roscoes Chicken & Waffles in Inglewood. Yes. Really. we have proof.

We also had another odd realization. And that is that there is a South Park Elementary school in Inglewood. Yes like South Park The cartoon.

Then to Ladera Heights.
We hit almost everyones house that was home or not home in Ladera.

SPRING BREAK DAY 1: The Action Has Already Begun

What a night.
After A long day of school, Practice, and shopping,
a couple friends and i decide to support our boy Landry in his poetry performance.
This was unsuccessful.
We were about 30 minutes late and got locked outside.

While we waited we enjoyed some entertainment from 19 yr old Simone Battle.

Since we're stuck outside, we decide to stroll Fairfax Ave.
As we're walking down Fairfax. some drunk guy shouts something at us. which we later found was "Don't do it like this!"
This Guy ZOOMS down the street and hits this guy on his bike (forces the biker to go airborne).
A couple of my boys run across the street to check it out.
The ambulance came. But of course its almost natural to leave from wherever sirens are.
So we were gone.

After that incident, we headed to the car, open the doors, & had about a 30 minute Jerk Session.
After all that dancing. We we needed somewhere to debrief. So we headed to PINK's.

After a night of entertainment, ambulance sirens, and food, we declared the night a successful mission.

I miss back in the day when life was simple. When if you weren't playing tag or cops in robbers, you was on the playstation or Gameboy Color playing Pokemon Blue. When wrestling was actually cool, and Jesus himself couldn't convince you that it was fake. When going out at night ment having a sleepover with the homies, and you begged to stay just one more night, then almost in tears when moms made you come back home.
